Our Privacy Policy covers types of information The STEM Playbook (“we,” “our,” or “us”) may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit www.stemplaybook.org (our “Website”) or use our mobile application (our “App”), our Website and our App being collectively referred to as our “Platform” and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.
Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to use our Platform. By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to our Privacy Policy. This policy may change from time to time (see Changes to Our Privacy Policy). Your continued use of our Platform after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates.
Children Under the Age of 13
Our Platform is not intended for children under 13 years of age. No one under age 13 may provide any information to or on the Platform. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use or provide any information on our Platform or through any of its features or provide any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, email address, or any other information by which you might be identified. Accessing and Correcting Your Personal Information
You can access, review, and change your Personal Information by logging into the Platform and visiting your account profile page.
You may also send us an email at privacy@stemplaybook.org to request access to, correct, or delete Personal Information that you have provided to us. [We cannot delete your personal data except by also deleting your user account.] We may not accommodate a request to change or delete information if we believe the change or deletion would violate any law or legal requirement or negatively impact the information's accuracy. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.
If you delete your User Contributions from the Platform, copies of your User Contributions may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or because other Platform users may have copied or stored them. Our terms of use www.stemplaybook.org/terms-of-use govern proper access and use of information provided on the Platform, including User Contributions.
SMS Messaging
If you provide us with a phone number capable of receiving SMS messages, we will send you SMS messages only with your consent. We securely store your phone information and will not share your SMS consent, or any third party.
Nevada Residents
Nevada provides its residents with a limited right to opt-out of certain personal information sales. Residents who wish to exercise this sale opt-out rights may submit a request by emailing us at privacy@stemplaybook.org.
How We Protect Your Personal Information
We employ physical, procedural, and technological security measures to help protect your information from unauthorized access or disclosure. We may use encryption, passwords, and physical security measures to help protect your information against unauthorized access and disclosure.
The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Platform, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.
We urge you to be careful about giving out information in public areas of the Platform like message boards. The information you share in public areas may be viewed by any user of the Platform.

Our Platform is controlled and operated by The STEM Playbook. We provide our Platform for use only by persons located in the United States. We make no claims that the Platform or any of its content is accessible or appropriate outside of the United States. Access to the Platform may not be legal by certain persons or in certain countries. If you access the Platform from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws. By choosing to visit our Platform or provide your personal information to us, you agree that any dispute over privacy or the terms contained in our Privacy Policy will be governed in accordance with the governing dispute resolution and arbitration provisions in our terms of use found at www.stemplaybook.org/terms-of-use.
Changes to Our Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to amend our Privacy Policy at our discretion and at any time. It is our policy to post any changes we make to our Privacy Policy on this page. If we make material changes to how we treat our users’ Personal Information, we will notify you by email to the primary email address specified in your account and through a notice on the Platform home page. The date the Privacy Policy was last revised is identified at the top of the page.
