The Science of Strong
A Daylong STEM + Sports Assembly Experience
What does it really take to keep elite athletes on the field?
The Science of Strong brings that world to your school in a full-day experience that connects sports, neuroscience, and technology to real STEM careers. Students meet a practicing health-tech entrepreneur, explore the biomechanics behind performance, and see how data, physics, and human physiology drive every play.
Inspiring students to discover the STEM careers behind elite athletic performance.
Meet Dr. Innocent Njoku
Dr. Innocent Njoku is a Cornell-educated former neurosurgeon turned health-tech entrepreneur and founder of Njoku Strong, an innovative fitness technology company. He’s also the brother of Cleveland Browns Pro Bowl tight end David Njoku.
His journey, from medicine to startup founder, shows students how STEM knowledge can open doors in:
Neuroscience and medicine
Health-tech and wearable devices
Data and performance analytics
Entrepreneurship and innovation
Students see a live example of how STEM can move you from the operating room to the tech lab to the business world.

Why This Matters
93% of students say they want to pursue a STEM career after participating.
67% report feeling very confident building, experimenting, and solving problems.
Connects sports passion to real-world STEM workforce opportunities.
Features a powerful role model with Cleveland connections.
The Science of Strong taps into that same model: take the energy of sports, pair it with real-world STEM, and give students a clear line of sight from the classroom to future careers.
Across STEM Playbook programs, students don’t just have fun, they change how they see themselves in STEM:
